Thom Nguyen is a multidisciplinary Vietnamese-American artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation. His practice investigates queerness and identity through material transformation and humor. Drawing on diasporic histories, traditional Asian mediums, and queer cultural forms, Nguyen’s work often explores what it means to be simultaneously seen and obscured.
He holds a BA in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles. Recent exhibitions include the solo exhibition Nước | Water Resistance at a.Farm Saigon (2025), alongside earlier solo presentations in California, Massachusetts, and Scotland.
