Mark Hernandez  is a figurative artist with Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in Laguna Philippines. His work focuses on a contemporary figurative style, primarily using the dry brush technique to create oil and acrylic paintings. 

 

Hernandez’s work is marked by a stylized way of painting that delves into themes of introspection and the mundane living often presented in a self- portrait manner and portraying familiar environment inspired both from personal experiences and the people around him. Through his introspective work, Hernandez aim to turn ordinary moments into reflective, thought-provoking visuals that invite viewers to digest the narrative and feelings of the paintings.

 

As a self taught painter, he actively participates in art shows and fairs since 2023 in Metro Manila and few international exhibitions including Alliance Française de Manille, Metro Gallery, Secret Fresh Gallery and Pinto Arts Museum in the Philippines. Thierry Goldberg Gallery in New York, Edji Gallery in Belgium and Kate Contemporary in Spain, among others.
